AGI's Lab (Alex G. Ioannidis)

Alexander Ioannidis, Ph.D., M.Phil, graduated summa cum laude in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard, completed an M.Phil in Computational Biology at the University of Cambridge, and earned a Ph.D. in Computational & Mathematical Engineering at Stanford with an M.S. in Management Science & Engineering (Numerical Optimization). Prior to Academia he worked on superconducting computing logic and quantum computing at Northrop Grumman's Advanced Technology Lab (ATL). As an Academician his lab focuses on computational methods, including ML and AI development for precision health (particularly Large Tabular Model development) and for genomics (particularly population genetics). In his vanishing free time he likes to kitesurf and sail, and is a former divemaster and travel guide writer.
